Royal Academy is an Independent School in South Jakarta which comprises the Royal Tots Academy and Royal Primary Academy.  In total,  it has 225 pupils.
Royal Tots Academy Early Years Program, Toddlers (2 years) to Kindergarten (5 years), currently has 174 students.

The school continues to expand with a community of local and expatriate families seeking an International Standard of Education.  

The school Curriculum is centered around the International Primary School Curriculum (IPC) and the daily program is taught in English in both the Early Years and Primary Years.    Mandarin lessons are taught across the school.

In the Primary Years, Australian Curriculums in English and Mathematics are complemented with Bahasa Indonesia Studies. A range of Specialist Teachers support Class Teachers and School activities.

Royal Academy is seeking expressions of interest both Early Years and Primary Teachers available to teach from mid-January and July, 2014 who would like to be part of a growing school and IPC Enquiry Teaching.

                                                    EARLY YEARS TEACHER

Skills in teaching English as a second language and/or strong literacy skills teaching speaking, listening, reading and writing will be important in this role, as is willingness to be involved in extra curricula activities. Experienced teachers and recent graduates are welcome to apply.

A degree in Early Years and /or Elementary / Primary Education is essential.
